1 Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PureTextTools, a free online text tools platform accessible at puretexttools.com ("the Site"), operated by Kickass Online, based in Bangladesh.

2 Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PureTextTools — whether by visiting the homepage, using any of our tools, or submitting the contact form — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using the Site immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to use PureTextTools. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3 Use of our tools

PureTextTools grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the tools on this site for personal, educational, or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

How the tools work

All text processing tools on PureTextTools — including the word counter, diff checker, JSON formatter, passive voice checker, Base64 encoder, fancy text generator, and others — operate entirely within your web browser. The text you type or paste into any tool is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

The only exception is the Webpage Word Counter, which sends a URL (not your typed text) to our server to fetch and count words on a live web page.

What you're allowed to do

• Use any tool on the site as many times as you like, free of charge
• Use the tools for personal, academic, or commercial projects
• Share links to specific tools with others
• Bookmark and return to the site without creating an account

4 Prohibited uses

While we want PureTextTools to be as open and accessible as possible, there are certain things you must not do:

• Automated scraping — do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to repeatedly request pages or tools from the Site in a way that could overload or disrupt our servers
• Reverse engineering — do not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of our tools for the purpose of building a competing product
• Misrepresentation — do not represent PureTextTools as your own product or remove copyright notices from the site
• Illegal activity — do not use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, or to facilitate illegal activity
• Harmful content — do not use our tools to process, generate, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Interference — do not attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the security or integrity of the Site

We reserve the right to block access to the Site for any user or IP address we reasonably believe is violating these Terms.

5 Intellectual property

The PureTextTools website — including its design, layout, code, graphics, and written content — is owned by Kickass Online and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute the Site's design or code without our written permission. This does not prevent you from viewing the page source for learning purposes, but it does prevent wholesale copying of the site to build your own version.

Your content

Because our tools process text locally in your browser and never transmit it to our servers, we never receive or store the text you input. You retain full ownership of any text you process using our tools. We make no claim whatsoever over your content.

6 Disclaimer of warranties

PureTextTools is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory.

We do not warrant that:

• The Site or tools will be available at all times or free from errors
• The results produced by any tool will be completely accurate or suitable for your specific purpose
• The Site will be free from viruses or other harmful components (though we take reasonable steps to ensure this)

7 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kickass Online and PureTextTools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Site or its tools.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Loss of data resulting from using any tool on the Site
• Errors or inaccuracies in tool output that you relied upon
• Any interruption or unavailability of the Site
• Unauthorised access to your device or data caused by third parties

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed £100 (one hundred British pounds sterling), or the equivalent in your local currency.

8 Third-party services

PureTextTools uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Google Fonts — for loading typefaces used on the Site

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
